HOW IT WORKS?
For Fashion Brands: We
offer a system that allowsthem to become circular.
01 TakeBack: Our digital takeback program facilitates brands to collect all their used clothing, footwear, and accessories using three different avenues:
- Whitelabel Digital Home TakeBack. This allows consumers to give back their used items, through a branded website. There are three simple steps (1) Select items to send (2) generate a shipping label (3) drop off.
- In-Store Digital TakeBack. Stores use our takeback system. Items that are dropped off (using a box at brand facilities) are sent to our partner processing facilities.
- Distribution Centers. Items not fit for the first-hand market are sent to CG’s partner ReCircled’s processing facilities.- Whitelabel Digital Home TakeBack. This allows consumers to give back their used items, through a branded webs.

02 Process: once the items get to ReCircled’s facilities (our partner for circular economy infrastructure), all the items get Cataloged, assessed, sorted, and processed using our technology.
- Items that cannot be restored get recycled. Items get disassembled and dismantled, each component is separated and processed for recycling.
- Items that can be resold are repaired (if needed), cleaned and processed for the ReCommerce store. Every item that gets to Circular Genie is inspected and goes through quality control to ensure only the right quality ones get to ReCommerce.

03 Resale / Recycle:
- Recycle: Items that are recycled either get a second life by creating new yarns. Or new materials are made out of recycled clothing, footwear and accessories, Examples are hangers, insolating materials, and more.
- Resale. We offer a brand white label ReCommerce site for each brand where repurposed items are put available for consumers.- Recycle: Items that are recycled either get a second life by creating new yarns. HOW IT WORKS?
For consumers: We offer a way to do the right thing and be active in the circular economy.
Give back to take back. Brands offer a reward program to incentivize the takeback program. Consumers get a reward (depending on the brand’s conditions) for every return they create on the TakeBack home site.
Purchase repurposed items. They will have access to second-hand, brand-certified items at a discount price.

How we started
Circular Genie was launched in January 2022 with the goal of becoming the lead technology system to help fashion brands become circular instead of linear.
